Blue and White Quilt Covers

Firstly, Happy Easter to everyone. We are spending Easter around home this year and have a few family members coming to visit and stay tomorrow night, so that will be fun. We will crank up the WeberQ and sit back and chill with a few wines.

When I first started out on my Surface Pattern Design journey in late 2016, the first patterns I created I loaded onto Spoonflower. Spoonflower is an on-demand, digital printing company that prints custom fabric, wallpaper, and gift wrap. Over the past year I have had a few sales from there. As I have been developing other online stores, I hadn’t visited or loaded any new designs into Spoonflower since those initial ones.

Spoonflower also has two ‘sister’ stores, Roostery where you can choose any of the Spoonflower patterns and load them onto their soft furnishing offerings, and Sprout Patterns where you can choose any of Spoonflower’s patterns and load them onto a great range of dresses/tops/pants and have them made for you. It’s such a great concept.

Today, I decided to take a look back at my store in Spoonflower and thought I’d show you one of my first design collections called ‘Something Blue’. Each of the patterns are quite different but the colours are the same, so you are able to mix and match them quite well together.

And I’ll now show you some of those designs in a mock-up made up as quilt covers, so you can visualise the products.

Blue Flecks Quilt Cover

This is the ‘Blue Flecks’ pattern. It is a very dainty design with a light blue background with cascading flecks. View in-store here.

Blue and White Cheater Quilt

Here I have compiled a few of the designs from the collection to create a ‘cheater’ patchwork quilt cover. View it in-store here.

You get the idea!! If you click into my Roostery store to view any of the above quilt covers, you will see other items you can purchase with the same pattern. I’m about to load the majority of patterns I’ve created over the past year into Spoonflower, so there will loads more designs available in the coming days.

You can of course, just order some of the fabric in these designs as well to use in your own projects, just go to my Spoonflower store.

Enjoy your Easter break.
